Co-building

From architecture, the projection of a building is a middle point between aesthetic and functional value in relation to the set of activities that take place there, giving a special meaning and character to the place, which can be interpreted as symbiosis.

When these activities becoming by themself in the nature and sense of being of the building the result is a symbiosis

The activities originated actions, flows, routes, constants, and variables that draw in themselves, their own version of the projected space.

Co-building is the result of workshops, carried out in different spaces (offices, cafeterias, study centers) and cities (Hong Kong, Barcelona) to test a mobile app prototype, which captures in real-time, the position of users inside the built space and thus trace their route. The sum of positions allows us to recognize patterns of movement and occupation related to distance, speed, and time, generating a collective map of people’s behavior related to spac
